When we first established this company we tested out a number of names but one thing was evident from the start, we had a cute product. (Thanks to all the people who say so) Thus, Acute Trailer was born. Acute also meaning keen or sharp, was the perfect way to describe our trailers and the way we go about business.

We’ve been dedicated to providing a quality, eye catching product as well as any service that we can supply to go along with it. Our Adventure Teardrops are designed around critical components to give the best that current technology has to offer while using materials efficiently and taking advantage of local suppliers and outsourcers.

Acute Trailer is also a family owned and operated business comprised of Ingvar, Pat and their son Luke. It was Ingvar’s initial passion for building that led to this business venture when one of his first prototypes was garnering a little too much attention at car shows and teardrop meets. Pat, an experienced seamstress, has an eye for details, color and an overall appearance that makes our teardrops a home on wheels. Luke is an accomplished engineer that has refined the designs and business structure into what the company is today. Marketing (camping!) is a duty that is shared between them and is recognized as an essential tool for their business. Hooray!
